In order to review and re-evaluate the condition of Multiple-Level Marketing (MLM) Business Management on the whole country, on September 19th 2008 in Hanoi and September 25th 2008 in Hochiminh city. Vietnam Competition Authority – part of Ministry of Industry & Trade held ‘Three Years Review’ workshop on MLM business management. Other than the Steering Committee of Competition Authority, there were also the presences of Investigation Representatives of Ministry of Public Health, Industrial & Trade Dept of many cities and provinces – Hanoi, Nghe An, Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Hochiminh, Long An, Vinh Long, Tra Vinh… The representatives of Industrial & Trading Dept of these provinces and cities reported before the Workshop on the operational situation of MLM business in their local areas. The common idea was that MLM business has been stepping into its stability after 110/2005/NĐ-CP Decree was issued. However, management tasks still faced several difficulties, as there are still a few MLM Companies that undertaking illegal acts.
From the invitation of Competition Authority, the Steering Committee of Aloe Trading Company had also presented at this workshop, and had the chance to express the idea on the advantages vs. disadvantages of the Company as well as suggest some petitions to appropriate authorities regarding the management issue of MLM business. Before winding up the workshop, the leader of Competition Authority reviewed all the ideas of Industry & Trade Dept and brought out intimate report on management situation of MLM all over the country through the lapsed period; hereby setting out the managerial directions in the upcoming time. The two workshops were carried out with specifically great success.
