Summer is in full swing and it has been a busy season. I love this time of the year. The grass is green, the birds are singing and the sky is a beautiful blue. When I think of summer, I imagine colorful fireworks, homemade ice cream and the sound of children squealing with delight.
Here, at the Home Office, we are gearing up for the International Super Rally. You can feel the extra excitement and a quickened pace to all the daily activity. People are working hard to make the Rally an exciting and memorable experience for all those in attendance. Each year the staff works tirelessly to make the Rally bigger and better than the one before. We want each of you to have the time of your life. The camaraderie of people around the world coming together for one common purpose is an experience you will never forget. Take that energy and enthusiasm back home with you so that you can share the wonderful opportunity that Forever is.
In addition, Rally is also the time when new products are introduced. We promise some exciting and wonderful new items again this year. Do you want to know what they are…I can’t reveal what they are yet, so make sure you come to Dallas to be the first ones to hear about them. I know you’re going to love them.
During this year’s Rally, you will also have the opportunity to visit Aloe Vera of America (AVA), our manufacturing facility in Dallas. The great folks there, led by Executive Vice President Chris Hardy, are looking forward to welcoming you to the plant, where you will be able to see many of our wonderful products being made. Then join us for a hoop-hollerin’ good time at Southfork Ranch. We have a wonderful party in store for you and I’m sure you will have a great time.
In the midst of all the busy activities that summer seems to bring, remember to take some time to reflect on your life and the lives of those around you. Have you given more of yourself to others and eased their burdens? Have you brought a smile to those you come in contact with? It’s never too late to have a positive impact on the world or even on your small circle of friends and loved ones. Make sure those around you know you care. Take the time to let them know how important they are to you. Give of yourself and, I promise, it will come back to you tenfold.
